You can follow me on Twitter @lccmunicipal where I regularly post pictures of bits and bobs related to the London County Council, the Greater London Council and the London Boroughs (including their pre-1965 ancestors – the Metropolitan Boroughs, County Boroughs, Municipal Boroughs and Urban District Councils).  Given that most of it was absorbed within Greater London in 1965, the former Middlesex County Council is also covered. Occasional ramblings on New Towns, Motorways, Shopping Centres and other stuff that contributes to daily civic life.
